Quite often, my kids, nieces and other people will ask me to share recipes. I decided to try my hand at blogging to share recipes, craft ideas, quilting ideas, things ...I have a whole "potpourri" of ideas to share. In my spare time, I like to cook, quilt, and read. This past Christmas I gave co-workers and family breads for gifts. My niece, Kara, asked me to share my recipe. She has never made homemade bread before and asked me to "walk her through the recipe". That is why I decided to give this a shot! The recipes I share will be recipes that I've tried, family recipes and traditional recipes. Typically, I set aside one night a week for what I have always called, "Recipe Night". This is the time I peruse cookbooks and websites to try out new recipes. My husband is always willing to try these out. Sometimes they turn out, sometimes they are disasters! I hope to share some "Recipe Night" recipes, too. The successful ones, that is! Hopefully someone will try out some of the recipes and ideas that I share!
